Bone Marrow Donor Drive

In 2015, we hosted our first Be the Match bone marrow donor drive in support of local Anderson Township resident and '87 Turpin grad, Tamara, who had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Tamara is in her third year of remission after receiving donor marrow, and it's registry drives like this that helped her find a match. She and her children are teaming up with Be the Match to pay-it-forward with a registry drive at the HealthPlex. With just a simple swab of the cheek, men and women ages 18-44 can join the national bone marrow donor registry. Tamara's son Tre', a senior at Turpin, will be first in line to join the registry now that he is 18 years old! Join Tre' and the HealthPlex community and get registered to be a potential life saver!
