Memorial Day Rememberance/Bell Ceremony
In honor of Memorial Day, a Memorial Day Bell Ceremony will be hosted at Anderson Center on Monday, May 27. The event, organized by the Anderson Township Veterans Memorial Committee, is set for 11:45 a.m. at the center, 7850 Five Mile Road.
This solemn remembrance of deceased veterans includes the reading of names of deceased members of the armed forces. Families who wish to have their loved one’s name read during this ceremony are asked to sign in by 11:45 a.m. The bell ringing ceremony starts at noon.
The event will be hosted rain or shine.
